“This was mine and my husband’s first vacation without our kids so needless to say it was much needed!We were looking for peaceful, private but still close enough to have a good time and this was that! The house is exactly like the pictures, the hot tub was perfect! And you’re a stones throw away from food, bars and fun! 5 stars I definitely would recommend staying here if your traveling to the area! The hosts are awesome! They replied quickly and their instructions for the home were clear and helpful. I would recommend them and their home to anyone visiting in the future! 10 out of 10 for sure!!!!!”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed Bad Monkey and Bernini’s, both in walking distance. We stayed here to go to the amphitheater for a concert and the home was a great location for Ubering there. Trey and Erin were very responsive and were kind enough to let us stay later the day of checkout since they didn’t have anyone coming in, which allowed us to enjoy a nice lunch on Mothers Day without rushing. The hot tub was perfect to come back to and relax after dinner. We definitely will stay here again in the future.”

“Cozy and reserved place in company of roosters and chickens all around. Very close to the beating heart of the old Ybor "cigar city" where you can drink a beer all day long! The hot tub was too hot for me..😉”

“It’s a very cozy little spot; I didn’t hang out there a ton but it was walkable to all the restaurants and bars in the area. The night life of ybor isn’t really for me; but this place is far enough away that you can’t really hear any of the loudness. Other reviews have mentioned hearing chickens at night time.. I didn’t experience that at all. Maybe this time of year they’re less active? I booked here because the hotel reviews in ybor were a little sketchy recently and this place had great reviews — overall, I had a good stay and the hosts are great but it’s a smidge expensive considering the size.”

“My girlfriend and I have a great stay at Trey and Erin's place! The location was perfect for what we wanted. We walked to coffee shops, bars, restaurants and the trolley service stop was right there! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.”

“The perfect Ybor gettaway for 2-4 people. Everything was walkable throughout Ybor, with the Trolly just up the street towards downtown Tampa. Thick walls prevented any roosters from causing an early wake-up. The property is clearly loved and taken care of by the hosts. I hope to stay again on my next Tampa/Ybor trip.”

“We absolutely loved staying at "the Ybor Roost". It was a perfect spot to walk the town, lots of places to eat & entertainment in the evening. Loved the roosters walking around and crowing in the morning. The hot tub was the best amenity! Thanks for such a terrific stay!”

“The location was amazing. So many great restaurants, bars, breweries, cigar bars walkable to the place. We stayed a week and still didn’t get to everything we wanted to do. Place was super cute and fit the neighborhood. We enjoyed the roosters and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Locals were super friendly and welcoming. Quick trolley ride or Uber in to watch the Lightning and Riverwalk. Excellent communication with hosts. Would definitely stay again when returning to Tampa.”

“This Airbnb was very charming. Although there are many roosters, they're absolutely adorable and weren't a bother at all. There is a train behind the Airbnb, but it only went by every so often and it was actually really cool! The hot tub was very clean and plenty of room for 3/4 people. This is a very walkable area with lots to explore. The Airbnb was surrounded by a quaint and friendly community as well. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions. This place is small, but we made Thanksgiving here, the three of us; a big dinner at that! We were able to completely enjoy our stay and dinner, and there were dishes, pots and pans as well as cups, mugs and and silverware to accommodate us. There were even some spices, coffee and tea to enjoy. The bathroom was clean and everything was very nice for a short stay with close friends or fam.”

“Bottom-line, you can pay for an overpriced hotel with 2 beds or stay in a unique perfect location by Ybor City. If you are going to have fun there, this is the place, a few blocks away and is truly the Rooster Nest. So cool, everything you need including hot tub. Perfect.”

“Trey a d Erin's place was lovely I wouldn't say it was hard to find but my GPS took me to the street behind the actual house. but trey and Erin were very quick to respond and help me find where exactly we needed to be. the house it's self was super cute. a little dusty but nothing crazy. and the only bad thing was the ceiling fan pulley was broke so I was a little hot at night. the AC unit worked thank God but I'm used to sleeping with the fan. other than that the amenities were perfect the wild chickens were adorable sitting on the tiny porch . loved the trolley!! I would definitely stay again! I did let them know that the fan was working so I'm sure they will fix that !”
