“I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised by this cozy house and all that Ybor has to offer...all within walking distance or a short trolley ride. The house is exactly as pictured and the fire pit and hot tub are a great amenity. Grab coffee at The Blind Tiger, make dinner reservations at Columbia, drinks at TBBC, dinner and drinks at Sparkman Warf - the options are endless! As far as noise goes, it was only loud on Friday and Saturday night...mostly from motorcycles. The house is far enough away from the main strip that you really don't hear much unless you're outside. You can hear the train come through and the roosters, but it wasn't bothersome to us. The ACs and sound machine drown out most of that noise. If we had any questions or wanted recommendations on places to eat or things to do, Trey and Erin were always quick to respond and did not steer us in any bad choices. Overall we had a great time during our stay. With a few minor upgrades/additions, this could be a place we'd visit again.”

“Had a great stay, loved waking up and taking a short walk to 7th to get coffee and breakfast. This home is packed with art work and you can tell the owners put a lot effort into the small details. If you see a female peacock hanging out, she is super sweet and I named her Brenda we hung out each morning with all the roosters lol”

“This was a perfect location in Ybor. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and the trolley for a quick ride to downtown. Roosters are all over the place in the neighborhood but I never saw any cats that were mentioned in other reviews. The noise level was also good - it was never disturbing from the night life or roosters. The hot tub was great to have after a long day out! There was no option for a fire though since there was no wood (it was cold while we we there). My only issue with the place was that the internet was kind of bad (I had to do a little work) and the furnishings could have been comfier.”

“Great place to stay while in the Tampa area. The house was very clean and exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The back patio and hottub was a great place to hang out and relax and was very private. I would highly recommend for couples or small families. We expected more noise from the roosters and 7th Ave but it was not bad at all and did not interrupt our sleep during our stay.”

“Our stay at The Roost was so much fun! The location was perfect. We were walking distance to everything in the area. Our favorite thing to do in the morning was having breakfast at The Blind Tiger (the avocado toast and cafe con leche were delicious). We highly recommend Rock Bros bar and The Barterhouse for a date night. The rental was perfect for everything and a lot of goodies were included. My favorite being the water filter so we didn’t have to go out and buy bottled water. Overall, we were so satisfied with our stay and if returning would definitely stay here again.”
