“The hosts were really great at communicating - very thorough, prompt, and kind. Quick to answer any questions I had. The back patio for this place is amazing. Especially with being so close to 7th ave, it's really impressive what they have done with the space. We planned most of our trip to revolve around YBOR, and were able to walk everywhere. It's also very easy to get an uber/LYFT from this place if you are going elsewhere in Tampa, and parking is easy for your car as well. We didn't have any issues with street parking around the air bnb. We loved the decorations, they were so funky, as well as the back story on the neighborhood and its roosters. The place had everything you'd need, including beach towels for the hot tub. There is noise at night if you go on the weekend, but we expected this being so close to 7th. City noise doesn't bother us at all, but if it bothers you, the a/c unit is loud, and there are ear plugs and a noise machine, so that would likely cover most of it up. If you need complete silence to sleep though, it may not be the place for you.”

“From the moment you walk through the picket fence until you reach the back patio the YBOR Roost doesn’t disappoint. The description and pictures are spot on. The decor is great and brings in what YBOR is known for, Roosters. The attention to detail was amazing from coffee to toiletries to a where to go guide to ear plugs to block out the morning rooster calls. Everything is walking distance. Our favorite places were the Copper Shaker, Columbia and the Bad Monkey to watch sports. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it our friends”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Urban the Perch! The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed. Great location less than 5 minutes away from a trolley stop and close to everything in downtown Ybor. We loved being able to walk everywhere and being able to hop on the trolley to get to downtown Tampa. As the listing notes and other reviewers have mentioned, it does get loud at night on the weekends, mainly from loud vehicles going in and out of the garage across the street. In our opinion the noise was worth it for the great space and location.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Urban Perch! The location was fantastic. Close proximity to historic Ybor. Our group took in a Rays and Bucs game. Traveling to and from the stadiums was really easy. Trey and Erin responded quickly to questions. I grew up in NYC and the street noise wasn't bad. The roosters and chicken were actually entertaining. I highly recommend staying here.”

“The Roost is a great little place perfect fir 1-2 people who want to experience all that Ybor has to offer. The home was clean and there were plenty of personal touches (such as coffee, creamer, soaps, shampoos, and conditioner. “Beautiful apartment in an eclectic neighborhood. We loved it! Space was clean and spacious. Very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Our teens loved it too and took over the upstairs area with the kitchen. We are traveling from Boston to visit colleges in the area so this location gave us easy access to everything. Great coffee and food in this area too! We liked being able to walk from the apartment to the restaurants and shops. We got the best Cuban sandwich at the Columbia Restaurant. We visited many of the other restaurants recommended by Trey and Erin, all great! Ybor area becomes a 21+ party area late night on the weekends but a fun area to walk around during the day and evening if you’re not into the party scene”

“This airbnb was absolutely amazing! Clean, modern and had everything we needed. The place has so much character as does Ybor as a whole. There are a few roosters around the area and only adds to the charm. Trey and Erin thought ahead and have white noise machines to drown out any ambiant noises. I would 100% stay here again. “What an amazing cozy cottage so quaintly nestled into historic Ybor City within walking distance of so many things & just a quick trolley ride away from Downtown, the aquarium & Sparkmans wharf! The owners obviously take pride of ownership and guest comfort very seriously with all of the personal touches and the place was spotless clean. The hot tub was also an unexpected bonus we were not expecting (apparently a brand new upgrade!). Highly recommend for a fun getaway weekend in Ybor!!!”
