“This little house is well equipped for a very comfortable stay. It looks exactly like the pictures, and had nice touches like high-quality and plentiful linens and a very comfortable bed. The location was amazing! We barely drove anywhere because Ybor and ths streetcars are a quick walk away. We are already talking about a return visit!”

“Ybor Roost was filled with fun and quirky artwork along its cinder block walls, while the barnyard doors, rooster signs and red kitchen equipment makes the space very homely. Go feed the chickens or pet the cats! There's also a peacock around. You'll hear roosters crowing and cats meowing all throughout the day and night. The location is perfect! It is close to 7th Ave, but far enough away to avoid the busy streets and noise that comes with it. Ybor is tame and slow during the day and lively at night, from live entertainment to late food and drinks. The thriving artist culture is jusxtiposed to the old architectural beauties of historical Ybor, and you will find the renowned Columbia restaurant, a saturday market at the park, a local museum, art galleries, second hand clothing shops, specialty ice pops, a creperia, the Cuban sandwich, cigars, and more. You do not need a car to get around. Take the trolley to Downtown Tampa for a more resort feel, with museums, an aquarium, a WWII merchant navy ship, etc. I loved Ybor Roost, Ybor, and downtown Tampa. Thank you for opening up such a lovely place to be rented out!”

“great location in Ybor, easy access to the trolly, about a 15 dollar uber to the airport, those rooster start cockadoodle doo'n early! like 3am! if your a light sleeper bring your ear plugs, not even the white noise machine will drown out those guys, really cool to see them walking around though”

“The Roost was spotless and homey - exactly as I expected from previous reviews and pictures. The neighborhood cats and the chickens were great company to us... there was even a peacock! GREAT location, easy parking and cheap LYFT/Ubor to downtown Tampa. Blind Tiger Coffee is an awesome spot right around the corner and even has local kombucha on tap! Erin was available and immediately handled an issue for us - radical hospitality that was SO appreciated on our last night in town.”

“My husband and I stayed at Ybor Roost for a weekend in March. We wanted to be in a location that was walkable to bars and restaurants. Ybor Roost was perfect. Walking distance to 7th Street with tons of options for drinking, eating and live music. Ybor Roost is adorable. It's just like shown on the website and has everything a guest needs. Erin and Trey were great hosts. Every one of my emails prior to and during our stay was quickly answered. Th roosters wandering around added to the atmosphere. We would absolutely stay again if our travels bring us to Tampa!”

“I loved this lil house. Perfect location, a great value compared to staying at a hotel! After an exhausting flight, it was nice to come to this home and feel relief and relax. “This place is so adorable. As soon as we drove up, we were immediately very happy with our choice. The inside was so cozy and decorated with a rustic feel, which is my favorite. There really is chickens hanging around the neighborhood but they are not bothersome at all. There are kitties next door that hang around and are SO friendly. The neighborhood felt safe, and people were friendly when we walked down the street, it is also in walking distance to the downtown area on 7th Street which has great places to eat and hang out for drinks. If we find ourselves in Tampa again, I'll be sure to look up the Roost!”
