“The Roost was an amazing stay! The neighborhood and location of the listing were perfect. Walking distance to downtown Ybor, but still just off the main street enough to really enjoy a nice quite evening on the patio. The listing itself was super cute and had everything I needed, including a life saving toothbrush since I forgot mine at home. The famous Ybor roosters were also all over town and I even got to feed them with the feed that Erin and Trey had provided, it was truly a fun experience and made me very reminiscent of my child hood growing up on a farm. My hosts were amazing, the listing was amazing, the area was amazing! Everything about my experience was amazing.”

“Adorable house with a great location. Very well thoughtfully decorated, and a short walk to many restaurants and bars. We were initially worried that the roosters night be loud and wake us up early in the morning, but they were surprisingly quiet. Definitely would stay here again!”

“We had an amazing time at Ybor Roost! Trey and erin were extremely easy to deal with and were instantly available to answer any questions that we had. The Roost is an adorable shotgun style cottage, that is in perfect condition, and very well stocked. The design of the interior was super clever and cosy. The neighborhood chickens and roosters were an awesome addition to the trip! The cottage is in the perfect location, within walking distance of all of Ybor City. Great restaurants, coffeeshops and bars are within a quick walk. We would love to stay here again.”

“What a lovely and unique experience. The roosters and neighborhood cats are such a quaint and fun way to be greeted in the morning whether on the front or back porch. The house itself is so unique and quirky, and we loved finding the rooster details in the accents around this house. Though it is small, it was more than enough room for my boyfriend and I. Honestly, we want these floor plans so we can have one just like it. We lived our trip, and it's evident how integral this was house to our vacation that we spend the majority of our time at Ybor Roost. This house is also very safe. There is security on the door and surveillance on the outside, as well as parking right in front of the house. Such a dream! Thank you Trey and Erin for hosting us. I felt very comfortable asking any questions, and I'd love to stay here again.”

“I was met by Trey and his two little boys who welcomed me with little flowers. They showed me around and made me feel right at home. I loved the roost! It's exactly like the pictures and even better if that's possible. Their attention to detail and their availability to help with any questions went above and beyond what you'd expect. I was hosting an event in ybor and the location was right in the heart of it. It couldn't have been more perfect and I'd love to stay again, more for pleasure instead of business.”

“My boyfriend, our pup & I spent an amazing three days/two nights at the Ybor Roost!! Trey and Erin were super accommodating prior to our arrival - asking if there was anything that we specifically would like/needed. Trey was great about keeping in contact via text on the day of "checkin". Once we made it to the cute and colorful home, we were greeted by a sweet welcome note + gift, and even a treat for our pup! Directly after getting settled in, we hopped to the back yard to ring the bell to feed the chicken & roosters. It's so funny that they actually come running to that sound... The home is conveniently located to center of everything - literally just a short two or three block walk to the Main Street that's loaded with tons of different restaurants and bars. Erin & Trey kindly email guest a list of restaurants nearby - what the taste & atmosphere is like, which we found helpful! The home is stocked with just about everything you could need! Full kitchen/cooking utensils/coffee maker (coffee & tea supplied), large closet with hangers and ironing board, even fire logs to use for the fire pit in the back yard. All you would need is yourself, some clothes & whatever food/beverages you'd want to bring with you. If you're looking for an absolute charming place to stay (pet friendly - huge +) then look no further! The fun & artsy decor throughout the house, the sweet string lights strung throughout the back yard, the great host... You can't go wrong booking your stay here. You'll wake up happy each day! :) *One of the evenings we booked a ghost tour which was actually really fun and educational about the town. Was a cute little last minute idea that we were happy that we ended up doing.*”

“My boyfriend, dachshund, and I had a wonderful stay at Erin & Trey's place! They were welcoming and accommodating in all of their emails prior to our trip, communication throughout, and even stopped by when we arrived to introduce themselves. It was such a nice touch! Their place was in a perfect location for Ybor City- walking distance to 7th Avenue and all of the major restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Prior to arriving, they sent us a write-up on their favorite places to visit in Ybor City, which saved me some research! Their Airbnb was very clean, and the decor was super cute! It has everything you need to enjoy your stay and be comfortable, including a washer & dryer- perfect for doing a load of laundry after a day at the sandy beaches. Our stay was extremely pleasant! Erin & Trey were excellent hosts and we would stay with them again next time we are in Ybor City! They went above and beyond to make our experience special :o)”

“The Roost was perfect! Centrally located in Ybor City, walking distance to all the great food and culture. Easy commute to the city via 618. We were greeted with a thoughtful card, and a fresh loaf of bread from a local Cuban bakery! The place was modern, clean, thoughtfully decorated, and homey. It was nice having the kitchen to ourselves, as we prefer buying groceries and cooking while on vacation to make sure we're eating healthy. We loved being able to relax at night and start a fire out back. My beautiful girlfriend loved waking up in the morning and feeding the local roosters. On our second night of the stay, we made reservations for Columbia Restaurant and had some delicious Cuban food! If you have a pet, there are like a dozen nearby dog-friendly parks and beaches, which made our stay even better. I would highly recommend staying at the Roost, and if we ever stay in Tampa again, we know where we'll be staying! Trey & Erin were easy to communicate with and made our stay a breeze. Highly recommend!”

“Erin & Trey made us feel so welcome in their home! They gave us so many tips, the place was immaculate. What a great welcome. Not only was the home beautiful but comfortable. What amazing decorators! Not to mention, what a great location! It was truly a unique experience. We loved the peacock, roosters, and sweet cats that live in Ybor city. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars. I am so happy I decided to book here vs. staying at a chain hotel -- which I often have to do for work. It was great! I would totally book here again and recommend it.”

“Hospitality at its finest. The Roost is a beautifully-appointed, cozy home with everything you could possibly. My husband and I immediately felt at home (with our 2 dogs) and had a fantastic week-long stay. The location is excellent. Close to nightlife of Ybor City, but removed from the main street enough that it's not too noisy. Downtown Tampa is easily accessible via streetcar. And it was a perfect, central location for our Spring Training ballpark visits. I LOVED the free-roaming roosters and friendly neighborhood cats. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit at night and eating breakfast on the comfy front porch. This truly was a memorable stay. And Trey's hospitality is unmatched. Excellent communication throughout the process, and he made sure we had everything we needed (including fantastic restaurant recommendations and parking). We're already thinking about coming back next year!”

“from the second we walked in to the Ybor Roost, my husband and I just melted. the decor was adorable - so unique and quirky, you could tell it was done by a local artist. we walked in to find a fresh loaf of bread from the local Cuban bakery in town, and a lovely welcome note from trey's wife Erin. the place was small, which we knew upon booking, but cozy and had everything we needed. it literally was perfect. trey made a point to stop by to meet us the day after we first checked in, and it was like meeting up with an old friend. he was resourceful, knew all of the weird stories and delicious food places from the older locals, and we felt like royalty. he was always checking in via text to see if we needed anything, and little things like that mean a lot. we woke up to our alarm clock, the sound of the roosters - and that had us laughing. all in all, it was an amazing stay and if we are ever back in Tampa, we will book the Ybor Roost without question!”
