“This trip was so much fun! YBOR is a fantastic area to stay at when visiting Tampa! The blind tiger coffee shop and La creperia in the morning were wonderful places to get an espresso and breakfast before starting the day. The Columbia restaurant and show was awesome and delicious, a must see! I still cannot get over the kitties and chickens and roosters that freely roam around town, they are so friendly. This was a great get away :) I highly recommend it! Only bad thing is there is a train that sometimes ran at night and the roosters cockadoodledooing are something to get used to but overall definitely an awesome experience! We will be back! “Hands-down the best AirBnB experience we've ever had. Trey & Erin were extremely prompt in replying to messages, gracious when a traveling SNAFU in our itinerary occurred, and took the time to personalize our AirBnB experience. The location is a breath of fresh-air, VERY aesthetically pleasing/themed, and a welcome break from the otherwise sterile and monotonous locations we've grown accustomed to. For the days we stayed there, it felt like home and that it not something my fiance and I say lightly when we travel. We will most definitely be staying at The Roost in the future, and you'll thank yourself if you stay too [:”

We loved our short stay at their place and loved the city, so much that we are already planning to trips (one trip for my parents to go and have the same experience and we ourselves our planning our come back to Ybor).”

“Although I never met Trey or Erin, they were super quick to respond to any questions I had. The house looks just like the pictures. The location was great; super close to a bunch of restaurants and bars on 7th street and a quick 5 min Uber ride to downtown Tampa. Neighborhood seemed good as well. I run early in the mornings and felt safe enough to run with only the street lights on. If you are looking for a place to stay in Tampa, I would highly recommend this!”

“This is a very nice Airbnb- like in the pictures. Though I did not meet Erin and Trey in person, they were very responsive via email. The location is good and of easy walking distance to the main local street. There are roosts running around the area which was quite neet.”

“They were extremely accommodating-we were able to check-in early, Erin met us and walked through the house with us. The location was a plus-our daughter lives 2 streets over so we could walk to her house as well as downtown Ybor. We didn't have to buy anything except food. They have thought of everything in stocking the kitchen, including a Keurig. We were extremely happy with our decision to stay at The Roost!”

“The best Airbnb we've EVER stayed in!! Ybor City part of Tampa is a hidden gem we'd never heard about in England it's amazing Wild chickens old buildings railroad and great pubs bars restaurants and Trey and Erin's amazing roost is just a couple of streets from all the action. The roost has so many amazing little details and touches the decor is so cool and it's so comfortable with 2 TVs great air con nice bed and back garden. We've loved exploring Ybor, Tampa and the beach at St Pete. We thoroughly recommend Three Coins Diner for breakfast 11 mins drive away we are there every day nearly and it's worth going to Whiskey Joes on the bay on a Friday or Saturday night but get an uber there and back the drinks are strong!! Our fav restaurant in Ybor is the Greek Acropolis thanks to Trey and Erin for recommending and it's quite healthy (rare in America ;) haha. Thank you so much we can't wait to come back to Tampa wish England wasn't so far away..I guess we need to move here one day ;)”

“They were absolutely fantastic hosts. The property was exactly as they described it and the location was amazing. A great first Airbnb experience. Even made some pet friends while I was there. The roosters don't really wake you up or disturb you as long the AC is on too. I understand why they got all 5 star reviews. I recommend this experience at least once.”

“Trey and Erin have a wonderful place in Ybor City! They made the whole experience amazing and we look forward to returning in the future to make Ybor City one of our primary vacation spots. The house was really nice and clean. It made us feel like we were in our own place. Very good location and close to anything you want to do, without having to drive. The local chickens were fun to feed and watch. I would recommend staying at Trey and Erin's place to anyone wanting to go to Ybor City or anywhere in driving distance. It was well worth it and cheaper than sharing a hotel with 200 other people. They were their for us anytime we had a question and made our stay absolutely amazing. Thanks Again Trey & Erin!!”

“Although we never had the opportunity to meet Trey and Erin in person, they were extremely accommodating and responsive. Their "Ybor Roost" is clean, cozy and inviting with tons of character. Their attention to detail is phenomenal! We enjoyed the oddly intriguing combination of free roaming hens and roosters in a urban setting. The residence is walking distance from all the hustle and bustle of downtown city nightlife. yet is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Best of both worlds. Two thumbs up!!”

“Trey and Erin's urban roost is the quintessential hot spot for exploring floridian culture. Between the art, cuban history, espresso shops, and night life, Ybor was just what my husband and I needed in a getaway from the day in and day out of everyday life. The roost itself is kept meticulously clean with the best rustic/chic decor to make you feel at home. Most of the decor looks handmade giving the feel that someone put the utmost time, energy and love into every detail. Trey and Erin both responded immediately to questions we had about our stay. Definitely highly recommended!”
