“This host was fantastic! we had an issue with a previous host and could not stay there, Trey and Erin accommodated us within hours. we drove 1100 miles for our 25th anniversary and am so glad we were given the opportunity to say at the urban perch. it was very clean, modern, and spacious. we loved the amenities like the washer dryer, private rooftop bar area with the hot tub, and the front balcony. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants was also a great feature of this property. The small things that were nice also like the complimentary coffee and tea, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Super comfortable beds for the needed rest after the long days exploring the area. We are looking forward to returning to this spot again in the future, highly recommended! oh and can't forget the free-range chickens around town! This location made our 25th wedding anniversary extra special! Thank You Again!!”

“Other than circumstance completely outside of the owner’s control such as the extreme noise and commotion at night surrounding events happening at Ybor, We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very responsive and extremely welcoming and accommodating. The location was merely a very short walk to the main strip on Ybor and the private rooftop with the hot tub with the Tampa skyline as the backdrop. I would definitely have to get use to the roosters cackling all day but overall I enjoyed myself.”

“The rooster house (as my kids call it) was a nice place to stay. Typically we stay in hotels or bigger air bnbs as we are a family of 5 but my husband has severe allergies to pets and we called 5 different hotels in the Tampa Ybor area and that all accept pets! We happened upon the rooster house and they specifically do not allow pets because of allergies so this was great for us. Upon entering we were hit with how difficult our stay might be because we did in fact chose to stay in a tiny home. We definitely felt cramped but we quickly prioritized what we could keep in the car and what we could pack away in drawers. My husband and I slept in the room with our baby (there is space for a pack and play) and our other 2 boys slept on the pull out couch. It worked well for us. While my husband attended his conference that weekend the boys and I found things to do outside of the home. The neighborhood seems very safe even though it may not look it.”

“Perfect perfect perfect! Amazing place! It was exactly what we needed. We came into town with friends for the Gasparilla Knight parade. Extremely convenient and surprisingly quiet at night. Hot tub was a huge plus! My only recommendation is to sleep with ear plugs if you’re planning on sleeping in. The roosters make sure you get up . It’s all part of Tampa’s charm!”

“I stayed here with my wife for our anniversary. We live about an hour away but we love to do staycation’s at our local surrounding areas. Ybor has many great restaurants and nightlife as well as morning markets and historic bakeries for the earlier parts of the day. The location of this house is easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do and more. We did not drive once after our arrival until our final departure. Trey and Erin are excellent hosts, they responded promptly and clearly for the duration of our interaction. I even left a pair of shoe’s accidentally and they quickly mailed them back to me. I would highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to have easy access to everything Ybor has to offer, you couldn’t have a better location.”
